DIRECTIONS TO THE COURT HOUSE:

From east of town and the New York State Thruway:
New Paltz is Exit 18. After the toll booth, turn left and travel west on Route 299. After three stop lights, continue on until you come to the corner of Main Street and Plattekill Avenue (library and P & G Restaurant on the right; Bank of New York and Starbucks on the left). Turn left at Plattekill Avenue and, after about a block, turn right into the parking lot of the court house.

From west of town and the intersection of Route 32 North, Route 208, and Route 299: Head east one block to the corner of Main Street and Plattekill Avenue (P & G Restaurant and library on the left; Starbucks and Bank of New York on the right). Turn right at Plattekill Avenue and, after about a block, turn right into the parking lot of the court house.

If you are coming to answer a ticket or pay a fine, enter the door on the parking lot level, come up the stairs, and go through the door on your left to the court offices.

If you are coming for a court appearance, enter by the outside stairs at the front entrance of the court house.
